Yes, they appreciate a heads up!!
Yes they do, any amount you want
No you can get there no problem at all
We had tail and fillet I believe that was like 35.00 but it was well worth it
I've always had good service. And good food too!
Yes
don't go! Service is not what it used to be!
The phone number listed transfers to the manager at 9am-open for questions or reservations. They will take your visa, mc, or discover payment over the phone and mail you a receipt. Great way to treat your parents from states away!
They do take reservations, but as you've seen not necessary. However if you want one of those fantastic long island iced teas they make it couldn't hurt to make one!
Friendly & casual with Covid compliance ...glad to have steak, prime rib & Alaskan Crab legs back again...the best!!!
Pretty good steakhouse. Nothing too special for the price, but kind of cool and interesting place. Not a chain, so that's always a plus in my book.
Prime Rib on Saturday night, 30 to 32 ounces. Out of this world, delicious.
Best steak in Indiana as well as an excellent king crab dinner..And the mushrooms here are ungodly good
Extraordinary food. The filet mignon will melt in your mouth and the king crab legs are amazing. But wear comfortable shoes. Unless you have a reservation.
It is always very good.
Food is great and people are nice and friendly
Was our first experience, the waitress was not very informative and the food was over priced plus not much variety when it came to sides, all was offered with salad, baked potato and Beef Broth Onion soup, plus they don't offer mashed potatoes or fries or anything fried. The waitress was barely around and she brought our bill and never came back for a long time so we went to look for a way and place to pay.
Just ok nothing special
Bynum's is a great place for a special meal while you're visiting the Nashville area. It was recommended to us by a local, and they were right - this is definitely a great place for steak. Whilre a little on the pricey side, the exceptional staff and delicious food more than make up for it. Although the restaurant features pretty standard fare (one type of meat, baked potato, soup, salad, and bread), the cuts of steak were unbelievable. Their seasoning was a little on the bland side, but fully allowed that great beefy taste to shine through!
Great service. Minor issue with a couple of meals but resolved quickly with apologies. Always great service and experience.
Just passing through and saw this place. Sat at the bar and had a NY strip. Great food, super cool and nice staff. All the customers, most of them local, were all friendly people. Wonderful experience. I will go out of my way to go back.
Fje soup and salad was good. I got the ribeye. It was the worst cut of meat I have ever had. Big veins and more far then meat. My husband got the same ribeye. His waa not as bad as mine. I suggest you find another steak house.
I've always loved Bynum's outstanding service, food and cocktails. I recommend the shrimp cocktail and swordfish.
Went here for the first time today. The food was delicious, the service was fast and the waitress was very friendly.
I thought my meal, shrimp dinner, was good but my boyfriend said his steak was okay, not the best he's ever had. A bit of a let down for a steakhouse.
Probably the best chicken I've ever had my wife said it was by far the best steak she had ever eaten we were in town for a wedding we r from Canada for sure will b back great collection of stuff there great staff and the owner what a guy let me look in a locked room collection great guy
Great steak. Casual, good food.
A Home With My Favorite People
Food is upscale and the atmosphere is low key. Graet place for a sit down. Our waitress was attentive but not intrusive. Beer selection is pretty good. 10/10 would recommend!
My ribeye is awesome.
Great steak great food and service!
Food is exceptional. Parking is terrible at best.
Went for a family celebration and ordered my steak medium rare. It came out well done and medium. Tried to eat it but tasted dry and terrible. Then they have the audacity to charge me for the french onion soup, salad (which had water standing in the bottom of the bowl), and the baked potato! Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. I have heard oh how great this place is for years and Martinsville is so much better blah blah blah! It’s a waste of time, gas, and money! If I could give zero stars I would at least the one in Indy knows how to cook their steaks! What a disappointment they ruined a beautiful filet and a family celebration dinner!
Have Given the place a few honest attempts in hopes that they would somehow turn things around but unfortunately tonight was my last time ever going. The steaks never have any flavor the service is habitually awful the tables are sticky every time it’s cramped it smells bad. Besides all of the other things that are negative I am most compelled to give a negative review because the service which is the easiest of all of these problems to fix is horrendous.
They do not know how to cook a rare steak. With so much wood in the place it did have a musty smell like another reviewer said. Once I-69 gets complete, good luck getting there.
I called at 10 am to reserve a prime rib... said I would be there at 7 pm... got there 10 min early... sorry we sold it.... try this they said.... for this kind of money give me what I want not what you have left. AFTER I RESERVED PRIME RIB.... never go back what a joke... and yes they still want 20% tip..hahahaha
Busy. Waitress was busy but tried to provide service. Had the prime rib dinner. Ordered medium. Was rare still bleeding. Asked them to fix. Took away still rare and fatty and terrible when returned they didn't care. Won't be back. Manager no where to be found. Bad business. Beware.
Always good. All the time. Great steaks. Everything we've had has been excellent.
Food was great. The Indy location is a bit better in my opinion. Also note, they open at 5 pm daily and if you go on a weekend night prepare to wait to get in the door.
great atmosphere. great food.
Bynum's is a hidden jewel in Martinsville IN. Literally one of the finest Steakhouses ever. No gimmicks, no peanuts everywhere, no commercialized steaks. The focus of Bynums is quality not quantity. The atmosphere is designed for private, intimate dining. Great place for a first date, Valentine's day dinner, or a 50th wedding anniversary. If you love great Steaks, seafood, and the most amazing French onion soup anywhere it's worth the trip to Bynums
I've eaten here many times over the years as well as their other location in Indianapolis. The meat dinners are very good. They serve a good portion of food for a reasonable price. Drinks are cheap. Good place to have a good beef meal, drinks and have some money left over. The service was good, the help attentive to your needs, and the place was clean. A large Riesling wine drink was $4.50; but don't expect top shelf brands.
Good cuts of meat..although slightly overcooked. Sides were average or slightly below, with no selection.
It's amazing. The best steak and French onion soup I've ever had. It IS priced fairly high though. You are paying for quality and portion.
Last-minute reservation change! No prob! Delicious! And if I was the waitress for our table I probably would have cried! Not our waitress. Took it with a smile!
Just want to say what an exceptional meal I had at Bynums this evening. I stopped by after an unexpected trip to Martinsville. I was greeted with exceptional service from Tina. An outstanding meal. Well done.
Loved our Waitress Cheyenne. She did a Fantastic job of 9 people! Their Blue Cheese dressing is the best! I couldn't stop eating my salad when my steak came! I just wish I could get smaller steaks there. It was so delicious. Definitely will be back!
Great food . Pricey but worth it.
Love love love Bynums! Ive celebrated many a birthdays here! Unbelievable service and food! One of my top choices!
It's been a few years since I've been here ... between 8 and 10 ... great steaks ... super friendly service ... French onion soup has not been matched. It made an impression... I liked the outdated look ... but the prices were too high for the food. Have they done away with the smoking area that we had to walk through to get to the non smoking section?
Fantastic meaty treats in an old school steakhouse. Ask your server for a recommendation or special; it'll be great.
This place is worth the trip. We had a little bit of a wait, but I don’t mind waiting for good food and service. To start, the wait staff is awesome. The meal includes their awesome French onion soup, salad, loaf of bread and a great ribeye and filet. The steaks where cooked perfect, medium rare for the ribeye and medium well for the filet. The ribeye was awesome, perfectly cooked and seasoned, melt in your mouth great. I can’t say enough about this place but worth the trip.
We started with the house onion soup. Excellent. Next salad. Then I opted for my favorite.. sirloin steak..my pic chose the ribeye steak.. without question, that was one of the best sirloin steaks I've ever been served. My pic gave her ribeye a 9 out of 10. The atmosphere was perfect. I would definitely say it's romantic. Dimly lit, quiet. Very inviting. Another of Martinsville's finest. Kinda pricy, so be prepared to spend $60-70 for two.
Dinner was excellent as always
5 stars for the prime rib. Amazing deal! The rest is so so, 3/5. Steak was overcooked, twice, and it wasn't busy. A steakhouse should be able to cook a steak to medium on any night. The soup is more like a flavored beef broth and, though it was good, a little cheese and a crouton does not a soup make. The salad was fresh and cold, no problems. The dinner salad with beef tips is freaking massive! Good buy for the price. I'd only go back for the prime rib. 50$ for two + tip is a nice date night dinner.
High prices for ordinary food, plus I hate that old building they are in.
Tried this for the first time. Had dinner for two on a Sunday evening, around 6 pm, the wait to be seated was about 15 min, Service was good, mixed drinks were on point, and the food was great. (Probably the best King Crabs in Indy area)I had the Ribeye dinner, she had the king crab dinner. This is place is now one of our “go to” places if we want to have a decent dinner with a couple drinks, all for around a hundred bucks, give or take a couple bucks.
The food is awesome an then some
